EasyRide is the Trinity Metro transit program that provides commuter cost savings to Tarrant County businesses and their employees. Transit options include the TEXRail, Trinity Railway Express (TRE), and all buses and trains of the Trinity Metro, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), and Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA).

Employers complete an agreement with the Trinity Metro, the Trinity Metro then provides the employer an employee registration form along with a company code. Employees complete and return the registration form to their HR department who will forward to Trinity Metro. Once processed, the employees will have access to the EasyRide online store to purchase online discount passes (25% off regular price).

Employers: Contact us at EasyRide@ridetm.org or call 817-215-8700 and ask for EasyRide. We will answer your questions and provide you with everything you need to get started.

Employees: Contact your benefits administrator to ask if your employer is enrolled in the EasyRide program.


First-time User

If you are a first-time user paying by credit card, follow the steps below to get started:
  • Enter the company code received from your HR department or benefits coordinator
  • Add desired pass you would like to purchase to your cart
  • Proceed to checkout to create an account and complete purchase

Returning User

If you are a returning user paying by credit card, follow the steps below to get started:
  • Enter the company code received from your HR department or benefits coordinator
  • Add desired pass you would like to purchase to your cart
  • Proceed to checkout to log into your account and complete purchase

Monthly Pass

Monthly passed will be mailed to the address provided online in your account unless a scheduled pickup is arranged in advance.

Annual Pass

Annual passes are not shipped.  Photo ID badges must be produced at the following locations only.

If you plan to purchase online and have the pass mailed to you, allow seven days to ensure that you will receive your pass prior to the start of the month.

Contact your HR department or benefits coordinator and they will provide you with an Employer Pass Application. This will have your company specific code on it. Be sure to return this application back to them so they can send it back to EasyRide.

Save pre-tax income by using a flexible commuter spending account, which is set up by the employer’s payroll system. This is similar to how a flex spending account works.

Everyone is required to register on the new website, this includes those making cash or check purchases.

For monthly passes: If you choose to pay by cash/check/money order, you will need to call 817-215-8700 and ask for EasyRide or email us at EasyRide@ridetm.org to set up an appointment to come in person to pay and pick up your pass. If you would prefer to mail in a check you can do so like this:

Yes, prorated annual passes may be purchased through the end of the year. Contact EasyRide@ridetm.org for more information.
